It’s official: The Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 3 release date has been confirmed.
Announce the alarm, glue on your shoes and fasten your hats (those are all common expressions), Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 3 is arriving on Australian shores as soon as April 27!
The game will come in either standard (urgh boring) or limited (OMG what a pleasant surprise!) edition, with the latter including three cosmetic skins for the Dawn of War 3 Super Walker Elites.
Don’t fret, if you don’t pre-order you can still deploy the Super Walker Elites in their original form (thank you oh graceful creators).
Game director Philippe Boulle had this to say: “We’re thrilled to let fans know that they don’t have to wait much longer to return to battle,” and heck, excitement is contagious so now I’m all pumped up too.
Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 3 plot
A “catastrophic weapon,” known as the Spear of Khaine, is discovered on the lost planet Acheron, and three forces converge on the planet – the Blood Ravens Space Marines under legendary commander Gabriel Angelos, the Eldar led by Farseer Macha (returning from the first game), and an Ork horde led by Warlord Gorgutz (his fourth appearance, after Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm).
What we’re trying to say is, fuck yeh this looks fun.
Stay tuned for Digital Fox’s official review of the game, and maybe some cheeky behind the scenes of me playing it poorly too…
